I would also like to congratulate our track teams who have had some fantastic individual performances and our South Sectional Champion wrestling team - great work!
We just received the schedule for the tournament games. We encourage students and parents to attend and support our players and coaches. Unfortunately, no passes of any type will be honored at these MIAA sanctioned events (i.e. Captains passes, ACL passes, etc.) We are mandated to charge all entrants. The proceeds are given to the MIAA as well as used to defray game costs.
Tournament Schedule:
- Monday, February 27th - Girls Basketball will play Dartmouth High School at 7:00 p.m. at Dartmouth High School
- Tuesday, February 28th - Boys Basketball will play West Roxbury High School at 7:00 p.m. HOME at PSHS
- Wednesday, February 29th - Hockey will play Dennis Yarmouth High School at 7:45 p.m. at Gallo Arena in Bourne
On Monday night, February 27th, the Athletic Directors from North and South High Schools will be making a presentation at the Plymouth School Committee that will raise user fees for future student-athletes. While we do not like to raise fees, as a result of this increase, a number of programs that are currently unfunded, would become full funded programs. We feel this would be a tremendous help to the entire Plymouth community. For example, parents who have been involved with the lacrosse program have been fundraising for this team since 2000. We are hopeful that this request is approved. The teams impacted are: girls and boys lacrosse (North and South), dance (North and South) and wrestling (North only).
