Students received their second quarter progress reports today to bring home to parents. Progress reports have changed in appearance with our new Aspen student information system. However, you will also notice that students now receive a comment from all teachers. We are continually working to increase communication with parents. We encourage parents to review the parent portal portion of our Aspen page. All parents received information on how to access this site in November. If you need more information on this topic please contact your child's guidance counselor.
Our winter sports season is in full swing. Our boys basketball team has their first home game on Monday night, girls basketball begins with a home game on Thursday, and the wrestling team competes across town on Tuesday night at Plymouth North. We encourage parents to review our sports schedules at www.southpanthers.com. The website also has a great selection of "panther wear" just in time for the holiday season!
The senior class is also collecting mittens and gloves that will be donated to needy families in the town of Plymouth. We encourage all students to participate.
Finally we ask that parents review a new component of our school website. We are displaying a collection of school-produced videos. For example, you can view our honors breakfasts, pep rally, and honor society induction just to name a few. We encourage parents to check our website regularly which showcases many of the fantastic events that take place at PSHS each and every day.
