Honors Recognition and Music Performances

The past two weeks have been busy as usual at Plymouth South High School.  Last week we focused on honors for our students who are excelling in their studies.  On Tuesday and Wednesday we hosted our honors breakfasts.  Students who were on the honors or high honor roll were recognized at this event.  We would like to thank student speakers, Christina Jaros (grade 10) and Jessica Hawker (grade 12) for their presentations.  In addition, Director of Arts and Music Michael Caple and PSHS Class of 2007 Graduate Caitlin Walsh were our guest speakers.  Congratulations to all students who received this honor.

On Wednesday evening, we hosted our annual National Honor Society Induction ceremony.  It was a wonderful evening and a large amount of juniors and seniors were inducted into our NHS chapter.  Congratulations to all students and their families.

Finally, I just arrived home after two nights of music - the vocal and instrumental holiday concerts that were hosted at both North and South high schools.  Congratulations to all students involved in the vocal and instrumental programs.  The professionalism, talent, and attention to detail in all performances was noted.  Great job!
